Este premio exclusivo para escritores británicos tiene unos antecedentes bastante interesantes.
Los organizadores de los UK Writers Guild Awards han revelado los juegos nominados al galardón de mejor guión, y cuyo ganador se conocerá el 13 de noviembre. La lista la componen tres juegos cuya historia ha sido escrita por británicos.
- Rhianna Pratchett por Tomb Raider (Trabajos anteriores: Mirror´s Edge, Heavenly Sword, Viking: Battle for Asgard).
- Mike Bithell por Thomas was Alone (Trabajos anteriores: Dead to Rights: Retribution).
- Graham Goring por Lego City Undercover (Trabajos anteriores: Lego Harry Potter DS).
Si nos guiamos por los antecedentes el favorito para ganar sería Tomb Raider. Los títulos premiados en años anteriores han sido Red Dead Redemption (2010), Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (2011) y Batman: Arkham City (2012).
